Church of Matamorphosis (Transfiguration) of the Savior

The Church of Metamorphosis is a three-aisled basilica with a two-aisled roof, built at the beginning of the 17th century. It has gone under extensive interventions; the most important being at its west side. Despite the major damages that were made at the biggest part of the painting decoration, some murals are still preserved in the Sanctum dated back to the construction of the temple.
