Church of Saints Theodore

Church of Saints Theodore

The church of Saints Theodore was built in the 15th century but substantial interventions over time transformed the original single spaced building into the two-aisled gabled roof temple that is now.
The temple preserves important wall paintings of the 15th century depicting saints, monks and hierarchs. There are also wall paintings that were created later during the second half of the 18th century which include depictions of the Birth of Virgin Mary, the Annunciation and the Ascension.
