Church of Saint Spyridon of the parish of the Saint John the Merciful

The Church of Saint Spyridon of the parish of Saint John the Merciful dates back to the beginning of the 19th century but he interventions made during the 20th century changed its form dramatically compared to the original building. In the temple there are no murals but formerly in the templum there was a hand painted icon of Saint Nicholas that had been stolen in 1977. Since 1975, the year when the temple of Saint Nicolas the Xilotrafti was demolished, the memory of the saint has been honored at the temple of Saint Spyridon where the memory of saint Eleftherios is also honored. Today, the temple is known as a Holy Temple of Saints Spyridon, Nicholas and Eleftherios.
