The parish church of Saint John the Merciful, existed until the year of.. then it was demolished. This specific three-aisled basilica dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. After the demolition of the temple, the archaeological excavation revealed a course of older constructions and foundations at the south side as well as the large cemetery with the ancient cube shaped tombs.
