Revival of the “Captains” custom by the Association of Vlachs of Veria
The “Captains” custom will be revived on Friday, February 24 by the Vlach Association. The event will start at 5pm, with a folk feast, at the Vlach House.
From 4:00 pm onwards, the “Minas” band will play. Plenty of wine and canapés will be provided for all attendees, followed by a tour of the city’s streets dancing and reveling.
The event will culminate in the Town Hall Square at 9 pm with dances and songs that will last until the morning hours.
