The season that symbolizes joy, renewal, creativity and extroversion! It’s time once again to welcome the vast sea of pink in the plain of Veria and enjoy the ephemeral beauty of the Blossoming Peaches.
A natural phenomenon, unique in the Greek countryside, with short duration but with surpassing beauty and resonance, comparable to the cherry blossoms of Japan.
The Tourism Club of Veria welcomes the Blossoming Peach Trees this year and invites you to its established activities on Sunday 19 March 2023.
Cycling in the Blossoming Peach Trees
Bike ride in the “heart” of the plain of Imathia with a relaxed mood and positive energy!
Take a Walk at the Blossoming Peach Trees
Suitably dressed with hats, pug and smartphone for photos, hiking fans will follow a beautiful route through the blossoming peach trees!
Photo contest
With a camera or just the mobile phone in hand, you can escape into the blooming peach trees to capture the incredibly beautiful phenomenon of the Pink Sea. The aim of the photo competition is for each contestant’s lens to capture the moment when the peach blossoms are in full bloom. We want to share this euphoria created in our souls by this impressive spectacle with all of Greece, through your images and videos!
